Welcome to
The Roark Valley
Modular Railroad

The Roark Valley Modular Railroad Club (RVRR) is an organization of members interested in both model and prototypical railroading.

We are located inside The Worlds largest Toy Museum on Hwy 76 in Branson, Missouri. www.worldslargesttoymuseum.com
The layout remains assembled and operational and is open to the public.  A few times during the year the layout is disassembled and transported to events such as model train shows. Although no member is required to travel to these events, all members are encouraged to join the fun.

Presently our Roundhouse area, the club room has a permanently installed HO, 12’ X 36’ Modular layout, powered by Digital Command Control  operated with a MRC-DCC system. We use NMRA (National Model Railroad Association) measurements and specifications for all equipment. Having equipment that operates properly makes a operating session more enjoyable for all.  With the addition of new  corners, a staging yard, a new metro area, the soon to be operation "Thunder Mountain" complex, and more... it is one of the larger modular layouts in Southwest  Missouri.

Visitors can also see our traveling layout.  This 5' x 16' portable layout with two separate rail lines (also controlled by MRC-DCC) is representation of the fictional Roark Valley.

Model Railroading is, without a doubt, a fun activity.  It is the desire that everyone involved in the Roark Valley Modular Railroad Club finds his time with the RVRR a rewarding and fun experience. There are many opportunities to get involved with layout construction and display.  Each member is encouraged to be involved as much as time permits - and, just running trains you have personally put so much of your own effort into is certainly fun.

Stop by and see us 10a-5p Thurs - Sat at the Memory Barn of the World's Largest Toy Museum.  (Winter Hours)
